Our Story
Our approach to furniture making incorporates the traditions of the heritage craft with specialized machinery and software. Each wood project is handled by master craftspeople and engineers with precision and care. At Roll & Hill, you will not find an assembly line. Our pieces are built by expert artisans from start to finish.
The Roll & Hill wood shop has 75 years of experience making high-quality, solid wood furniture. Specialized production equipment allows us to make large volume orders at reasonable prices.
Lighting Production
Roll & Hill began with one person assembling lights in a small studio in Greenpoint, Brooklyn in 2010. Today with a catalog of over 2000 different fixtures and an inventory of more than 3500 unique parts, we produce our lighting in a 63,000 sq/ft, state-of-the-art facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Still, each fixture is made to order, by hand, by one of our skilled craftspeople.
